A Baby Boardbook

I made this boardbook for a lady at my school. She and her students gave it to their
"student teacher - intern" on her last day at our school. I chose to use cream, gold, and black. I thought these colors would be great for silhouettes. This was my first attempt at many of the images on the New Arrival cart.
Entire Book

Close-up of book front cover - B - I also used Stickles in various places throughout the book.

Back of B and front of A - That little pregnant lady is so cute! I used tiny pearls on her neck and wrist for jewelry and on the hat band. That flourish on the leg of the A is a rub-on from a goodie package I received from a scrappin pal.

A close-up of the A. I like that photo mat with the gold ribbon near the top.

Back of A and front of B

A close-up of the back of A - The black square on the right hand side at the top is actually a pocket. At the time, we didn't know if the baby was a girl or boy. So, one of the papers says "girl" and the other "boy." There is a ribbon tied on the corner of each one to make it easier to pull out of the pocket.

Front of second B - I love that little baby in the pea pod. That was so fun!!!! The scalloped side of the photo mat is also a pocket. I thought this would be a great place to put her 3-D sonogram and then place the journaling in the pocket.
Back of B and front of Y

Close-up of the back of B
Close-up of the front of Y - I really like the "baby" blocks.
Back of Y
Last page of book - That stork is just adorable with that sweet little baby!!!!
The back of the book has 3 more photo mats.
I love making these books - I am off to work on one with an Atlanta Braves theme.
Thanks for stopping by. Please come again.
Happy New Year,
Carol :)
